Details of the Job/Internship

Marsdens Law Group is hiring a Junior Lawyer to join their office in Australia.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting client disclosure letters;
• Preparing briefs to experts;
• Preparing material for conciliation conferences and hearings;
• Assisting in proceedings at the Land and Environment Court (including Court appearances);
• Corresponding with clients (written and oral);
• Researching and preparing advice; and
• Assisting senior staff with the day-to-day carriage of files.

Eligibility

• Have the desire to specialize in Planning, Development, and Environmental Law;
• Be a robust and resilient problem solver who is prepared to develop into a strong advocate for their clients;
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Have the ability to work autonomously and handle your matters;
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;
• Be able to provide client service of a high-quality;
• Be able to work in a team environment; and
• Have effective time management skills and can juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Salary/Stipend
