Plexus is hiring a Junior Lawyer with experience of 1 year to join their office in Australia.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide responsive, commercial advice in the consumer law space.
- Complete legal review of terms and conditions for promotions and review and provide advice on a variety of advertising material for our clientele which includes brands such as L’Oreal, Coca-Cola, Woolworths, Lion, and Medibank.
- Draft and review an array of other legal agreements and contracts in the marketing and advertising space including winner release forms and prize supplier agreements.
- Complete general administrative tasks on the end-to-end management of client matters and trade promotion-related administrative tasks (e.g. trade promotion permit lodgement, emailing/calling various lottery government departments for updates/follow-up on permits, finalizing costs for invoicing, conducting draws, etc).
- Deliver great success to clients that results in active client-to-client referrals and drag-along referrals from individuals that move between roles and employers.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue through cross-selling and product improvement.
- Provide ideas for improvement of systems, workflow, and processes.
- Ensure we hit our client responsiveness and delivery KPIs.
- Identify client risks and opportunities to ensure the client is realising the maximum value from their MS offering.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that would impact our ability to deliver to goal.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year experience in legal practice. Background in consumer, advertising, and/or trade promotion law is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written skills - can effectively, clearly, and confidently communicate to all levels of the business and customers.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Time Management - excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Agile learner - Able to learn and take on new / changing ideas quickly.
- Strong problem solver - Able to diagnose client objectives and suggest potential solutions.
