Details of the Job/Internship

Sanjeev Oak RDC is hiring a Junior Lawyer to join their Pune office in an on-site role. The position involves providing legal support in housing redevelopment consultancy projects, including legal research, document review, drafting agreements, and assisting with due diligence and compliance related to property and redevelopment laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identifying potential legal risks in redevelopment projects and assisting in mitigation strategies.
• Reviewing legal documents, including agreements, notices, and redevelopment-related paperwork.
• Examining and analysing contracts between societies, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Interacting with society members and relevant parties to gather information and address concerns.
• Preparing, reviewing, and editing legal documents and correspondence.
• Ensuring legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitating communication between all concerned parties.
• Maintaining accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
• Assisting in meeting preparation and coordination as instructed.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or currently pursuing a degree in Law.
• Strong knowledge of revenue laws, co-operative laws, housing redevelopment laws, and building bye-laws, including UDCPR.
• Experience in legal research and drafting agreements.
• Proficiency in legal terminology and procedures related to real estate.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and support team objectives.
• Prior experience or internship in real estate law or housing redevelopment projects is an advantage.
