Details of the Job/Internship

SPAB & Co is hiring a Junior Lawyer to join its team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, court and tribunal appearances, trial preparation, contract review, and coordination with senior attorneys and external stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with applicable legal regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in legal research and analysis.
• Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents with attention to detail.
• Making appearances before courts and tribunals.
• Supporting trial preparation and maintaining client communication.
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring legal compliance.
• Coordinating with senior attorneys and external stakeholders to facilitate legal processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Bar certification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of legal principles, legal research, and contract drafting.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and basic office software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain confidentiality.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
