Details of the Job/Internship

SPAB & CO is hiring a Junior Lawyer to join their office in Velachery.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analyse legal information.
• Prepare legal documentation and draft contracts and agreements.
• Assist in case preparation and represent clients under supervision.
• Support senior lawyers during court hearings and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage case files collaboratively and meet deadlines.

Eligibility

• Strong knowledge of legal research, case analysis, and drafting case studies.
• Proficiency in legal documentation, drafting contracts, and other legal agreements.
• Ability to assist in negotiations and effectively handle client communication.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills to manage case files and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local and national legal procedures and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is required; additional certifications are an advantage.
• Strong ethics, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
