Details of the Job/Internship

Advocate Tejas Chauhan is hiring a Legal Intern / Junior Lawyer (Fresher or up to 1 year of experience) to join his practice in Ahmedabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, analysis, and prepare case briefs.
• Draft and review legal documents, petitions, and memoranda.
• Assist in cheque bounce (NI Act Sec. 138) and criminal cases.
• Handle court filings, Lok Adalat matters, and client coordination.
• Attend courts regularly and assist in case preparation.
• Maintain client files and ensure compliance with regulations.

Eligibility

• Law student (3rd year or above of 5-year course) or recent graduate in Law (LLB).
• Basic knowledge of court procedures, cheque bounce cases, and filing process.
• Strong communication and drafting skills.
• Punctual, diligent, and willing to attend courts regularly.
• Bar admission and license to practice preferred (for Junior Lawyer role).
• Freshers may also apply.
