Details of the Job/Internship
Thoshin & Associates is hiring a Junior Lawyer with experience of to join their office in Kochi. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Junior Lawyer will assist in conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing support during client consultations and court proceedings. The role involves managing case files, assisting with compliance, and collaborating with senior lawyers to provide effective legal solutions. Responsibilities also include staying updated on relevant legal developments and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and due diligence.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Assist in client communication and consultations.
- Support dispute resolution, negotiation, and litigation preparation.
- Manage case files and assist with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers on legal matters.
- Ensure attention to detail, meet deadlines, and maintain organisational standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- LL.M. is a plus.
- Admission to the Bar Council and familiarity with the Indian legal system.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and legal research tools.
