Mittal Brothers Pvt Ltd is hiring a Junior Legal Advisor with 4–7 years of experience in real estate legal advisory and RERA compliance to join its Pune office.
Role and Responsibilities
RERA-Related Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with RERA legal consultants and the management committee for all legal cases related to the firm’s real estate projects to ensure full compliance with the RERA Act.
- Monitor and track ongoing RERA legal matters, including court cases, with regular updates and detailed reporting to the senior management.
- Assist in the RERA registration process by coordinating with external consultants, gathering and verifying project data and documentation, and ensuring submission of required documents as per the RERA checklist.
- Provide regular updates and filings related to changes in key project professionals, project progress (e.g., Form 4 submissions, Occupancy Certificates, and Part Completion Certificates), society/condominium formation upon reaching 51% booking, and conveyance and handover of projects to societies or buyers.
Documentation & Drafting Responsibilities:
- Draft a wide range of real estate and legal documents, including Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, Power of Attorney, Memorandums of Understanding, Letters of Intent, Purchase Agreements, Legal Notices, Replies to Notices, Commercial Lease Agreements, and Agreements to Lease.
- Review all drafted legal documents to ensure accuracy, legal validity, and alignment with real estate practices and company policies.
- Finalize drafts through discussions and coordination with external legal consultants and in-house stakeholders.
Legal Support for Registrations & CRM:
- Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to complete registration of real estate projects under RERA.
- Provide legal guidance to CRM teams for customer-related queries regarding documentation, contracts, and statutory processes.
- Verify and approve legal drafts before submission for registration with regulatory bodies.
Legal Advisory & Operational Support:
- Provide sound legal advice on internal and customer-related issues, contracts, documentation discrepancies, and negotiation strategies.
- Handle legal correspondence, notices, and letters; review and edit official legal communication on behalf of the organization.
- Offer legal opinion on standard draft templates used across the CRM and documentation teams.
- Review and verify mortgage deeds, loan documents, and related paperwork; ensure coordination with concerned personnel for completion and closure.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or higher degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in RERA compliance or property law are preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in real estate legal advisory, RERA documentation, and property law.
- Strong understanding of the RERA Act and related compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting and document reviewing capabilities.
- Proficiency in legal research, statutory interpretation, and legal correspondence.
- Familiarity with real estate processes, registration portals, and legal tools.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to multitask and meet strict regulatory deadlines.
- Confidentiality and professional ethics in handling sensitive legal matters.
