Details of the Job/Internship
Capital Now is hiring for the position of junior legal associate to join them in their Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
Research and Regulatory Compliance:
- Review and stay updated on relevant RBI Guidelines, Notifications, Circulars, and Master Circulars for NBFCs and Digital Lending Platforms.
- Conduct in-depth research on RBI guidelines and prepare detailed documentation for organizational use.
- Study and document best practices in grievance redressal techniques specific to NBFCs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the operational and regulatory relationship between NBFCs and Digital Lending Platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to NBFC operations.
Grievance Redressal:
- Monitor and manage the grievance and legal matter email inboxes. Draft and maintain standardized response templates for addressing grievances in a professional and timely manner.
Legal Document Management:
- Review and analyze agreements with vendors and other external parties to ensure compliance and protect organizational interests.
- Maintain a well-organized repository of all legal documents and ensure easy access for internal reference.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with RBI regulations and NBFC operations is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in using office tools and maintaining document repositories.
