eJAmerica is hiring a Junior Legal & HR Compliance Associate with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join their office in Mysuru and Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, NLRA, and EEOC regulations.
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, HR policies, and legal documents.
- Conduct internal HR audits and risk assessments.
- Handle employee grievances and ensure adherence to anti-discrimination laws.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws and align company policies.
- Assist in legal matters such as terminations, disputes, and contract negotiations.
- Support onboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle management.
- Maintain HR records and ensure data protection compliance.
- Assist in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with finance and payroll teams for salary processing and compliance.
Eligibility
- MBA in HR, LLB, or equivalent qualification in HR and labor laws.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in legal compliance and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEOC, and NLRA.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and compliance tools.
- Strong analytical, legal interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
