Details of the Job/Internship
Lexicon Legal is hiring a Junior Legal Associate – Corporate and Commercial Law with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Surat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, notices, resolutions, and compliance reports.
- Conduct corporate and commercial legal research using legal databases and government records.
- Maintain corporate records and assist in governance and regulatory compliance.
- Support due diligence and documentation for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist in compliance with corporate, data privacy, anti-corruption, and securities laws.
- Participate in client meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including filing and organizing legal documents.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from a recognized law school.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong academic record in corporate, business, or IP law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong organizational and research skills.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Interest in corporate and commercial law.
