Details of the Job/Internship
Macwise Group of Companies is hiring a Junior Legal Associate with experience of 0–12 months to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise corporate and commercial agreements including MOUs, NDAs, LOIs, vendor, service, shareholders’, revenue sharing, collaboration, distribution, sale, and supply agreements.
- Support negotiations and transaction execution, including managing multiple drafting iterations.
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and cross-border matters.
- Maintain agreement trackers, follow-up sheets, and execution documentation.
- Coordinate across internal business verticals to ensure timely documentation.
- Work extensively on MS Word and Excel and assist in building internal workflows.
- Take ownership of assigned matters and proactively flag risks and issues.
- Report to the Legal Head and provide regular updates on assigned matters and timelines.
Eligibility
- Law graduate or lawyer with 0–12 months of post-qualification experience.
- Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
- Keen interest in corporate, commercial, and cross-border legal work.
- Knowledge of UAE legal and regulatory framework is an advantage.
