Details of the Job/Internship

Pepper Content is hiring a Junior Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves supporting the company’s legal and compliance operations, drafting contracts, assisting with due diligence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain standard commercial contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and partnership contracts.
• Manage and organize legal documents and maintain contract trackers.
• Liaise with internal teams such as Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations for legal coordination and contract execution.
• Support legal due diligence activities and assist with corporate records and compliance tasks.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for internal use.
• Help maintain and update internal legal templates and checklists.
• Contribute to special projects including data privacy, employment law, intellectual property, and contract lifecycle management.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 1–3 years of legal experience (internships, in-house, or law firm experience accepted).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred.

Salary/Stipend
