Details of the Job/Internship

Steigen Elevators Ahmedabad is hiring a Junior Legal Associate (GST & Compliance) with experience of relevant years to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage GST-related legal filings and compliance activities for the region.
• Draft and review legal documents, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
• Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and provide actionable summaries to the management.
• Assist in the preparation of responses to show-cause notices and legal queries.
• Maintain organized records of all statutory filings and compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal finance and operations teams to ensure smooth regulatory reporting.
• Conduct legal research on corporate laws and industrial regulations applicable to the elevator industry.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Proven understanding of the GST framework and Indian indirect tax laws.
• Strong skills in legal drafting and professional documentation.
• High attention to detail and proficiency in legal research.
• Ability to work effectively within a corporate environment.
• Good communication and organizational capabilities.
