Details of the Job/Internship

RunCode is hiring a Junior Legal Associate with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage agreements including NDAs, vendor agreements, SHA/SSA, and service contracts.
• Support company law compliance under the Companies Act.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control.
• Track ongoing litigation and arbitration matters, including High Court cases.
• Coordinate with external counsels and senior advocates.
• Prepare briefs, organize documents, and track timelines.
• Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely filings.
• Track notices, responses, and legal obligations, and proactively flag risks.
• Work closely with Chartered Accountants to align contracts with financial records.
• Identify discrepancies between agreements and actual transactions.
• Maintain structured records of expenses, obligations, and commitments.

Eligibility

• LLB (3-year or 5-year) – mandatory.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in law firms (corporate or litigation) or startups/in-house roles.
• Strong contract drafting and review skills.
• Working knowledge of corporate law and compliance.
• Basic understanding of litigation and arbitration processes.
• Exposure to criminal law procedures is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge, including P&L, expenses, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with tools like Tally or Zoho Books is preferred.
• High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in unstructured environments.
