Details of the Job/Internship

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will provide support in meeting the legal needs of the Company, including contract drafting and negotiation, legal research, compliance, regulatory matters, and any other responsibilities necessary for the effective discharge of duties. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent legal drafting abilities, and a keen understanding of corporate, commercial, and other relevant laws.

Working Days : Monday To Friday (09:00 AM-06:30 PM)

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, corporate policies, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters to support business operations and decision-making.
• Liaise with external counsel on litigation and specialized legal matters as needed.
• Monitor changes in corporate and regulatory laws, providing timely updates to the legal team and business stakeholders.
• Assist in drafting and implementing company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in business operations.
• Handle ad hoc legal tasks and projects as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and enrolment to the Bar of any state/UT (an active license of practice not required).
• 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
• Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of case law-related research. 
• Experience:2-4 years.
