Details of the Job/Internship
Kwalee is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to join their in-house legal team at the Bangalore office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise internal teams on commercial, regulatory, and operational legal issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with stakeholders.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and ensure business compliance.
- Manage and protect intellectual property, including enforcement actions.
- Support dispute resolution and coordinate with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist with data protection compliance and incident response.
- Deliver legal training to internal teams.
- Provide legal support for corporate initiatives like M&A and partnerships.
- Manage legal operations and maintain document records.
Eligibility
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or in the tech/gaming sector.
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, compliance, and IP.
- Good understanding of UK data protection laws and GDPR.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for gaming is a plus.
