Details of the Job/Internship
Dynamite Games is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Singapore. The role involves working closely with the Legal Counsel and business teams, providing legal advice, ensuring compliance with international legal standards, and minimising legal risks while supporting the company’s operations in a dynamic environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to the group and affiliates, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and operational contracts, including licensing, reseller, vendor, NDA, employment, and service agreements.
- Handle due diligence processes and requirements.
- Manage the group’s IP portfolio and advise on trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Coordinate with external or foreign lawyers when necessary.
- Assist in developing and implementing standardised legal templates, corporate policies, and internal processes.
- Support corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct in-house training sessions for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Stay updated on legal developments impacting the business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal records.
- Support ad-hoc projects as required.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Qualified lawyer in Singapore, UK, or other common law jurisdiction with 2–3 years of legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law or M&A.
- Prior experience in IP, TMT, regulatory practice, or technology, gaming, or digital services industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Motivated, reliable, meticulous, and disciplined self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage projects across multiple geographies and diverse subject matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think and negotiate effectively.
