Details of the Job/Internship

Magicpin is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel to join its office in Gurugram. The role involves contract drafting, compliance management, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations in India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet contracts.
• Develop, maintain, and administer the company’s compliance program.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations in India.
• Navigate regulatory complexities and ensure product compliance.
• Provide ongoing legal and compliance advice to all business functions.
• Assess, prioritize, and manage compliance risks and monitoring.
• Oversee third-party and regulatory audits and ensure timely responses.
• Guide management and staff on ethics, business conduct, and compliance matters.
• Stay updated on regulatory and legal developments.
• Maintain and update the Compliance Manual and relevant policies, including code of conduct, whistleblower policy, CSR, insider trading, and anti-bribery policies.

Eligibility

• Law graduate with relevant legal and compliance experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance programs, and product compliance.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as RBI is preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate policies and compliance management systems.
