Details of the Job/Internship
Veeam Software is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel with experience of 1+ year to join their office in Remote. The role focuses on supporting commercial and technology-related legal matters, particularly SaaS and software licensing contracts, within an in-house, business-oriented legal function.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Support contract lifecycle management and internal approval processes.
- Assist senior legal counsel with ongoing commercial and regulatory matters.
- Identify legal risks and suggest practical, business-focused solutions.
- Work closely with sales, product, and business teams.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent).
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or equivalent qualification.
- 1+ year of relevant legal experience.
- Basic understanding of SaaS, software licensing, and commercial contracts.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with templates.
- Good communication skills and commercial mindset.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience with international contracts, knowledge of data protection such as GDPR, and prior in-house or technology sector experience are advantages.
