Details of the Job/Internship

Arvog is hiring a Junior Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support its compliance and governance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor RBI circulars, notifications, and regulatory updates applicable to NBFCs.
• Assist in implementing RBI regulations and updating internal policies such as KYC/AML and liquidity frameworks.
• Support regulatory filings, submissions, and correspondence with RBI.
• Maintain records for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Draft and review agreements, policies, SOPs, legal notices, and internal documents.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in operational and transaction documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for compliance implementation.
• Maintain compliance trackers, registers, and documentation.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Conduct legal research on RBI regulations and financial laws.
• Prepare regulatory summaries, advisories, and briefing notes.
• Assist in handling legal correspondence, due diligence, and coordination with external counsel.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Legal or Compliance, preferably in NBFC, banking, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of RBI regulations and NBFC framework.
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory circulars and master directions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
