Details of the Job/Internship
Dot Media is hiring a Junior Legal Executive with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and NDAs relating to content, production, talent, and distribution.
- Assist in matters concerning copyright, trademark, and intellectual property.
- Ensure compliance with media production and company operations regulations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and industry partners as required.
- Maintain organized legal documentation, contracts, and records.
- Provide legal guidance to internal teams and support in resolving issues.
- Track and update changes in media and entertainment laws/regulations relevant to the business.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from a recognized university.
- 1–3 years of experience in legal roles, preferably within media, entertainment, or production.
- Strong understanding of IP laws, copyright, and media contracts.
- Excellent drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
