Codemonk is hiring a Junior Legal Executive / Legal Intern to join its team in Bangalore Urban. This is an entry-level, execution-focused role involving day-to-day legal documentation, coordination, and agreement management, suitable for fresh graduates or law students seeking hands-on corporate exposure.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintaining trackers for agreements under review, pending execution, and completed.
- Managing soft copies of signed agreements with proper organisation.
- Updating key agreement details such as party names, dates, and validity.
- Assisting in initiating agreements for execution after internal approvals.
- Coordinating with internal teams for approvals and signatures.
- Following up with external parties for agreement execution.
- Coordinating with legal advisors and tracking review feedback.
- Cross-checking reviewed agreements against internal checklists and templates.
- Assisting in reviewing customer purchase orders for basic legal points and escalating deviations.
- Tracking documents requiring director signatures and assisting in execution.
- Initiating employee confidentiality and NDA documents using approved templates.
- Maintaining records of employee legal documents.
- Preparing weekly status updates on agreements and pending items.
Eligibility
- Law student, law graduate, or any graduate with an interest in legal operations.
- 0–1 year of experience, with freshers welcome.
- Basic understanding of contracts and legal documentation.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Attention to detail and comfort with spreadsheets and Google Docs.
