Details of the Job/Internship
Questel is hiring a Trade Mark Paralegal with 1–2 years of experience to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage new case entries and maintain records.
- Process correspondence, emails, and calls.
- Monitor deadlines and maintain case files.
- Prepare and submit standard forms.
- Assist with invoicing, reporting, and document archiving.
- Draft and review correspondence and basic legal documents.
- Assist with trade mark filings, searches, recordals, and renewals.
- Conduct clearance searches and prepare initial advice.
- Support opposition, cancellation, and enforcement matters.
- Coordinate with clients and international associates.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of experience in intellectual property, preferably trade marks.
- Familiarity with UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO procedures.
- Knowledge of IP management systems such as Inprotech and MS Office.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Commercial awareness and interest in brand protection.
- CITMA qualification or progress towards it (preferred).
