BITS Law School, Mumbai, is hiring for the position of Junior Tutor to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized, one-on-one writing tutorials for BITSLAW students, supporting them through various writing tasks, including:
- Ideation and drafting of academic assignments
- Independent research and journal submissions
- Writing for public forums
- Exam preparation
- Professional writing: resumes, cover letters, applications, and proposals
- Collaborate with BWC faculty to develop academic writing resources and contribute to the evolution of the BWC curriculum in alignment with research-led pedagogy.
- Assist the BWC administrative and communications team in coordinating daily operations, organizing events, and maintaining records.
- Support faculty in conducting workshops on:
- Academic and critical writing
- Legal writing and research methods
- Critical thinking
- Facilitate sensitization sessions on plagiarism and academic integrity, and assist in administering Turnitin reports for coursework.
Eligibility
- A postgraduate degree in:
- English Literature
- Social Sciences
- Liberal Arts
- Law
- Or any allied field within the Humanities and Social Sciences
- A demonstrated interest in, and strong portfolio of, critical and academic writing.
