Neeti Shodh is an independent public policy and research initiative dedicated to generating insightful, well-grounded analysis in the fields of law, governance, economics, and international affairs. 

Details of the Job/Internship

Neeti Shodh is inviting law students to join their office remotely.

• Commitment: 5 Hours/Day | 25 Hours/Week (Strictly capped – no overwork culture).
• Mode: Remote (Work-from-Home).
• Duration: 4 / 6 / 8 Weeks (Flexible and extendable based on merit).

Role and Responsibilities

• Guide new research interns by suggesting topics aligned with current affairs and core thematic clusters.
• Provide research guidance and relevant starting points for secondary analysis.
• Curate weekly research focus areas (e.g., Gender & Law, Governance & Policy, Climate Justice, Criminal Jurisprudence).
• Offer non-evaluative, constructive feedback on research submissions.
• Assist in developing knowledge products: blog ideas, explainer series, and social media carousels.
• Maintain knowledge documentation: resource lists, topic banks, and outline templates.
• Collaborate closely with core team members to drive engagement, productivity, and learning outcomes.

Eligibility

• Background in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or allied disciplines.
• (LLB/LLM/MA/MPhil/PhD students are highly encouraged to apply.)
• Strong academic writing and legal-policy reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with key socio-legal debates, current events, and SDG-aligned governance frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate within remote teams.
• Prior experience with publication or blogging is a plus.
