Details of the Job/Internship

Sarvaank Associates is hiring a Labour Law Officer with 1–2 years of experience to ensure compliance with labour laws and employment regulations. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and central labour laws and employment regulations.
• Handle end-to-end labour law compliances including statutory registrations, renewals, maintenance of registers, and periodic filings.
• Prepare and file returns under various labour laws including EPF, ESI, Shops and Establishments, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, and Contract Labour.
• Maintain documentation and records of labour filings, statutory registers, notices, and compliance trackers.
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, HR policies, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and assist in labour dispute resolution.
• Respond to notices, coordinate during inspections, and liaise with labour authorities when required.
• Stay updated on amendments in labour legislation and advise management on compliance impact.
• Support internal investigations and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (Bachelor of Law) degree.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in labour law and statutory compliance.
• Practical experience in handling labour filings and compliance documentation.
• Strong knowledge of labour regulations and dispute resolution procedures.
• Good drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal matters professionally.
