Details of the Job/Internship

Enfinity Global is hiring a Land Legal Lead to manage legal due diligence, documentation, and compliance for land acquisition in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid) across North India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all legal aspects of land acquisition for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct end-to-end legal due diligence including title verification, encumbrance checks, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and track land documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with state land acquisition teams, land aggregators, revenue authorities, and external counsel.
• Conduct scrutiny, audits, and risk assessment of land documents and advise on rectifications.
• Draft and review MoUs, sale/lease deeds, GPAs, ATS/ATL, and other land-related legal documents.
• Ensure proper execution and registration of all land-related documents as per state laws.
• Track legal clearances, land conversions, and mutations, maintaining up-to-date status reports.
• Resolve legal disputes through engagement with local authorities, courts, forums, or arbitration.
• Collaborate with panel advocates and external counsel on civil, revenue, and high court matters.
• Conduct legal research on land laws, renewable energy policies, environmental regulations, and government circulars.

Eligibility

• Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with 4–5 years in renewable energy or infrastructure, specifically land acquisition.
• Proven experience handling land legal matters and disputes across North Indian states.
• Strong understanding of state-specific land laws, property rights, and renewable energy policies.
• Experience in legal drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Willingness to travel across project locations in North India.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary/Stipend
