Fox Mandal is hiring a Law Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join its office in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site position. The role involves providing legal advice, conducting legal research, preparing legal documentation, and representing clients in labour and employment law matters. The Associate will also be responsible for negotiating on behalf of clients, developing legal strategies, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice to clients.
- Conducting legal research to support cases and strategies.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
- Representing clients in labour and employment law matters.
- Negotiating on behalf of clients.
- Developing and implementing legal strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Membership with the Bar Council is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of law with expertise in labour and employment law.
- Experience in providing legal advice and handling complex legal matters.
- Proficiency in conducting detailed legal research.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage deadlines efficiently.
- 2–3 years of experience in litigation.
- Experience within the Chennai jurisdiction will be an advantage.
