Details of the Job/Internship

The Law Office of Jason Gang is hiring a Law Clerk with 3 years of experience to join their team in New York State.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of litigation documents, including motions, pleadings, and legal documents.
• Handle discovery requests and follow-ups.
• Work on motion practice, orders to show cause, turnover petitions, and judgment entry.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal correspondence.
• Coordinate with the Legal Department and Client Services Manager throughout the litigation process.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation law or equivalent experience.
• Creditor collections experience is mandatory, preferably in New York State.
• Strong ability to read, analyse, and interpret legal documents and instructions.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a high volume of cases.

Salary/Stipend
