Details of the Job/Internship

Lily Thomas & Saju Jakob is hiring a Law Intern for a short-term, one-month engagement in August 2026 at their New Delhi office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research on various points of law and summarize findings for senior counsel.
• Assist in the drafting and vetting of legal documents, commercial contracts, and case briefs.
• Review complex case files and assist in the systematic organization of legal materials and evidence.
• Attend client meetings, briefings, and court hearings to observe professional legal conduct.
• Provide essential administrative and paralegal support to the active legal team.
• Perform case law analysis using digital legal databases to support ongoing litigation.
• Participate in internal brainstorming sessions regarding case strategies and procedural steps.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or an equivalent law program.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site commitment in IP Extension, New Delhi for the month of August 2026.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using legal databases (such as SCC Online or Manupatra) and a basic understanding of court procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.
