Karora Consultants Private Limited is hiring a Law Officer with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide expert counsel on corporate, financial, and regulatory matters.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, MOUs, and legal documents.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to corporate laws, labor laws, and industry regulations.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes, liaise with external legal counsel, and represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain legal records, agreements, and statutory documents.
- Liaison & Coordination: Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and legal firms to address legal concerns.
Eligibility
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in corporate law, compliance, or legal advisory.
- Education: LLB (mandatory); LLM is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in contract drafting, legal research, and compliance tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate laws, SEBI, RBI guidelines, and labor laws.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to assess legal risks and provide effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong legal writing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in contract review, compliance, and legal documentation.
