Details of the Job/Internship
Roots Industries India Limited is hiring a Law Officer with 5 years of experience for their office in Coimbatore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, including those related to Joint Ventures and Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain statutory documentation for Companies, Establishments, Firms, and Institutions.
- Ensure compliance with State, National, and International legal systems, policies, and regulations.
- Provide legal opinions, risk assessments, and support for governance and compliance matters.
- Handle corporate legal matters under Company Law, Labour Law, Civil Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Environmental Law.
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies for legal procedures and audits.
- Communicate legal concepts effectively in English and Tamil.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in corporate legal practice.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in contract drafting and statutory compliance.
