Details of the Job/Internship
SOES is hiring a Law Officer to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal and Compliance Functions: Ensure compliance with trust, labor, civil, and statutory laws. Prepare and review legal documents, agreements, policies, and official correspondence. Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, while maintaining records of trust governance and statutory filings.
- Administrative Functions: Provide administrative support for governance, meetings, and institutional documentation. Prepare drafts, reports, and minutes of meetings, while coordinating with various departments and affiliated institutions to maintain records of policies and agreements.
- Labour and Welfare Matters: Assist with employee welfare, labor law compliance, and HR-related statutory requirements. Support the management in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and ensure overall adherence to employment regulations and internal policies.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: LL.B. from a recognized university. Candidates with a Company Secretary (CS) qualification will be given preference.
- Knowledge Requirements: Sound knowledge of Trust Laws, Labour Laws, Employment Regulations, and Civil Laws.
- Experience: Relevant experience in legal, compliance, or administrative roles, preferably in educational institutions, trusts, or corporate organizations.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong legal drafting, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Key Attributes: Professional integrity, confidentiality, and a detail-oriented approach to documentation.
