Details of the Job/Internship
INDIALAW LLP is hiring an Associate – Banking & Finance with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience to join its Mumbai office. The role involves advising banks, financial institutions, corporates, and borrowers on financing transactions, including project finance, real estate finance, regulatory compliance, and restructuring matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documents including loan agreements, security documents, inter-creditor agreements, guarantees, and facility agreements.
- Advising on legal and regulatory aspects of financing transactions, including compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other financial regulations.
- Conducting legal due diligence for secured lending and structured finance transactions.
- Assisting in structuring transactions relating to project finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and corporate loans.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, banks, NBFCs, rating agencies, and regulatory authorities.
- Advising on enforcement of security and recovery actions under SARFAESI Act, IBC, and applicable civil laws.
- Tracking and staying updated on legal and regulatory developments in banking, finance, and insolvency laws.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in Banking and Finance.
- Relevant experience in financing transactions is mandatory.
