Details of the Job/Internship
Aritra Partners is hiring an Associate – Transaction / Corporate Lawyer with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Byculla, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support and take ownership of work in M&A and PE/VC transactions and retainership assignments.
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating transaction documents such as SHA, SSA, and SPA.
- Handle general corporate and advisory work.
- Conduct legal research and due diligence with accuracy and commercial relevance.
- Work with senior team members to provide practical legal advice.
- Coordinate with founders, investors, and internal teams for smooth execution.
- Manage timelines, documentation, and deliverables with attention to detail.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, or VC/PE transactions.
- Strong understanding of corporate and transaction law.
- Ability to take ownership and work independently.
- Problem-solving mindset with practical approach.
- Strong attention to detail and drafting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with willingness to learn and adapt.
- Openness to using technology tools for efficiency.
