Details of the Job/Internship

Citizens for Justice and Peace is seeking Lawyers, Law Graduates, and Legal Researchers to contribute to research, communication, programme development, and advocacy.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct research and write articles, analyses, and investigative features on human rights and social justice issues.
• Track and report on legal cases and analyse judgments.
• Monitor fake news and hate speech; contribute to Hate Tracker Analysis.
• Compile content for analytical segments and fact-sheets on human rights issues.
• Write creative articles on CJP programmes such as Peace Building, HateWatch, Citizenship, Legal Interventions, and Forest Rights.

Eligibility

• Journalism degree or diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi and Marathi preferred.
• Genuine interest in human rights and social justice.
• Mature, committed, and able to handle serious work responsibly.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
