Details of the Job/Internship

Maruti Suzuki India Limited is hiring a Legal Manager with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience to join its Realty & Infrastructure department in Gurgaon.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate property-related agreements including sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, MoUs, and term sheets.
• Conduct title due diligence across PAN-India properties and prepare title reports.
• Coordinate with external counsel and consultants for property verification and compliance.
• Handle property disputes and civil litigation independently.
• Draft legal notices, applications, plaints, replies, and rejoinders.
• Attend court proceedings, liaise with external advocates, and manage litigation strategy.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in contractual engagements.
• Conduct legal research and advise business teams.
• Prepare legal MIS reports and dashboards using Excel.
• Create PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, case files, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal training for business teams as required.

Eligibility

• LLB qualification.
• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Prior experience in both law firms and corporate legal departments preferred.
• Exposure to real estate, litigation, and contract management is essential.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
