Details of the Job/Internship

QuintEdge is hiring a Lawyer to join their office in Patel Nagar, New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Defend and represent the organisation before lower courts, district courts, and higher courts.
• Coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Prepare case strategies, documentation, and legal arguments.
• Handle disputes related to student fees, refunds, and contractual obligations.
• Draft legal notices and responses for student-related disputes.
• Manage employment-related legal matters, including disputes and disciplinary actions.
• Draft and review employment agreements and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Draft, review, and vet vendor agreements, employment contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership and franchise agreements.
• Handle disputes with vendors, partners, service providers, and third parties.
• Engage in negotiations, arbitration, mediation, and settlement discussions when applicable.
• Manage copyright and intellectual property matters.
• Take legal action against unauthorised use of study materials or brand assets.
• Coordinate with enforcement authorities when required.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to management.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, commercial, and education-related regulations.
• Inform management about legal risks and mitigation measures.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. degree from a recognised university.
• Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.
• Relevant litigation experience is preferred.
• Experience in independently handling cases across different court levels.

Salary/Stipend
