The Legal Swan is hiring for the position of Lawyer with 1 year of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as an independent external member on Internal Committees, bringing an unbiased and legally informed perspective to POSH inquiries and redressal.
- Ensure organizations are compliant with statutory timelines and reporting obligations under the POSH Act.
- Guide IC members and clients on the legal interpretation and procedural nuances of the POSH Act and related legislation.
- Draft and review documents, including IC reports, notices, legal opinions, and compliance checklists, with precision and legal accuracy.
- Collaborate with clients’ HR, legal, and leadership teams to ensure effective implementation of POSH policies.
- Support the broader mission of POSH at Work through research, documentation, and client-facing engagements as needed.
Eligibility
- LL.B or LL.M from a recognized university.
- At least 1 year of legal work experience, preferably in the corporate sector.
- Sound knowledge of the POSH Act, 2013, relevant rules, and key case law.
- Prior exposure to social justice, gender issues, human rights, employment law, or workplace diversity initiatives will be an asset.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi and/or Telugu will be an added advantage.
