Details of the Job/Internship
Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is Lawyer/CS with Indirect Tax Team to join their office in Bengaluru with post qualification experience of 2 to 4 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Good analytical skills with ability to research on legal databases.
- Knowledge of case laws with relevant legal framework, good understanding of regulatory updates and a basic understanding of its impact on the assigned clients.
- Good command of English and have drafting skills (most critical).
- Ability to create and disseminate updates on latest trends to the team.
- Ability to do quick research to develop theoretical understanding of the laws and acts.
- Ability to do quick research to develop theoretical understanding of the laws and acts.
- handle engagements and provide advisory to clients related to GST, Customs, FTP, FEMA, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Pollution Control / Environmental laws, Consumer Protection laws, State Excise, SEZ, Income tax.drafting replies, appeals, briefing counsels, and senior counsels.
