Details of the Job/Internship
Lowe’s is hiring a Lead – Trademark Paralegal with 5–8 years of trademark and IP portfolio management experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios including filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement.
- Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals, declarations, and assignments with USPTO.
- Coordinate with foreign associates on global filings and enforcement activities.
- Maintain and update the trademark docketing system and monitor deadlines.
- Conduct preliminary trademark searches and prepare summary reports.
- Maintain organized electronic files and documentation.
- Support brand protection through monitoring, enforcement, and online tracking.
- Assist with domain name management and enforcement actions.
- Respond to brand protection queries from internal teams.
- Support IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Eligibility
- 5–8 years of trademark/IP experience.
- LLB degree (LLM/IP certifications preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of USPTO, WIPO, and international trademark systems.
- Proficiency in docketing and document management tools.
- Attention to detail, strong organisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle global portfolios.
