Details of the Job/Internship
ShareChat is hiring a Lead – Legal with experience of 4–6 years to join their team in Bangalore or Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic legal advisor to product teams across the full development lifecycle.
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex technology agreements, SaaS contracts, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide risk-calibrated guidance on regulatory matters, including data privacy, IP, and consumer protection.
- Enable large-scale product launches through proactive legal risk assessments.
- Build and refine critical policy frameworks, including content safety policies and data governance structures.
- Develop product compliance playbooks and user safety frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Monitor evolving legal landscapes to advise stakeholders on upcoming regulatory changes.
Eligibility
- Law graduate (LL.B.); an LL.M. is preferred.
- 4–6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Experience at a top-tier law firm is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in technology transactions and product advisory.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.
- Sound judgment with a precision-oriented and business-first mindset.
