Details of the Job/Internship
Godrej Capital is hiring a Lead – Litigation with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a nationwide team of Litigation Managers to ensure effective case handling.
- Shape and execute end-to-end litigation strategies for civil, criminal, and recovery matters.
- Oversee litigation under the Negotiable Instruments (NI) Act and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
- Drive recovery outcomes through proactive legal interventions and settlement strategies.
- Coordinate with internal business stakeholders and external legal counsels to manage risk.
- Ensure legal compliance across all litigation processes and documentation.
- Partner with functional leads to translate legal complexities into actionable business advice.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in end-to-end litigation and recovery.
- Expertise in Civil Law, Criminal Law, NI Act, and IBC (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code).
- Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing legal teams.
- Strong skills in litigation strategy, compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
