Details of the Job/Internship

MaxVal is hiring a Lead - Patent Analyst with 7–10 years of experience to join their team in one of their major Indian hubs. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex patent searches, including patentability, invalidation, and Freedom to Operate (FTO) searches.
• Conduct comprehensive landscape studies to identify technological trends and white spaces.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring strict adherence to tight deadlines and resource allocation.
• Review the work of junior analysts to ensure it meets global quality standards and technical accuracy.
• Mentor and train junior searchers, focusing on developing their technical and analytical capabilities.
• Form and develop a high-performing team of skilled searchers to meet business objectives.
• Manage project delivery from the proposal stage through to successful completion and reporting.
• Facilitate excellent communication and coordination between all internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or IT).
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in patent analysis and search.
• Preferred Qualification: Deep knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Patent Law.
• Proven experience in a leadership or team management role within a similar organization.
• Expert-level proficiency in all types of patent searches and landscaping tools.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
