Details of the Job/Internship
Ishan Technologies is seeking an experienced Legal and Contracts Head with 15-20 years of experience to join their Ahmedabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and support to senior management on business operations and strategy.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
- Oversee the contract management process, ensuring timely renewals and amendments.
- Develop and deliver training programs on legal topics for staff.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; Master's degree (LLM) is a plus
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in legal and contracts management, preferably in the ICT or technology sector
- Strong knowledge of corporate and contract law
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
