Details of the Job/Internship
Hourglass Research is hiring a US Patent Drafting Associate to manage patent drafting initiatives for technology companies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently draft US patent applications aligned with client innovation strategies.
- Conduct inventor interviews and coordinate email and attorney communications.
- Collaborate with the team, review work, and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Stay updated on USPTO/MPEP case laws and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance in all patent activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of experience in US patent drafting.
- Proficiency in patent drafting across multiple technology domains.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex or cutting-edge technologies and apply them in patent applications.
- Familiarity with USPTO/MPEP regulations and patent processes.
