Details of the Job/Internship

Collabera Digital is in search of a motivated individual to join them as a Corporate Legal Lead. You'll be pivotal in supporting the Business, offering legal guidance, overseeing contract drafting, and conducting thorough reviews. Role and Responsibilities

Contract Drafting:

• Lead the development and review of client ready contracts while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with legal standards.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to sales transactions.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate legal terms and conditions into contracts while maintaining a balance between legal protection and business objectives.
• Ensure contracts are drafter and submitted in a timely manner to facilitate swifter deal closures.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring that contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders on contractual matters and negotiate favorable terms when necessary.

Partnering with the Business:

• Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a variety of legal matters.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to understand business objectives and provide legal support in various aspects of the sales process.
• Advise on legal implications and risks associated with sales strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage and coordinate the organization’s litigation and dispute resolution activities.

Legal Compliance:

• Stay abreast of legal developments and advise the organization on potential risks and opportunities. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure legal compliance in collaboration with other departments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel in APAC regions or in EU regions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in law or related field.
• 8-12+ years of legal experience (experience in the IT industry is preferred).
• A proven track record in providing legal advisory and drafting legal documentation pertaining to commercial technology law areas.
• Knowledge of India contract law and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
