Details of the Job/Internship
GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd is hiring a Lead Counsel – Strategic Litigations with 12–15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, to join their office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage high-value and precedent-setting litigations including arbitrations, writ petitions, SLPs, tariff disputes, and environmental matters before NGT, High Courts, and the Supreme Court.
- Develop litigation strategy and coordinate with senior advocates and law firms.
- Handle disputes arising from concession agreements, airport service contracts, and regulatory directions.
- Draft responses, counterclaims, legal notices, and government representations.
- Participate in policy consultations and industry forums.
- Conduct legal research, monitor judicial trends, and maintain litigation MIS and dashboards.
- Review new legislation and regulatory developments impacting airport operations.
- Coordinate with external counsel, internal stakeholders, and government authorities.
Eligibility
- LL.B.
- LL.M preferred.
- 12–15 years of post-qualification experience in handling government responses, concessionaire agreements, and regulatory communication, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in infrastructure, aviation, or regulated sectors.
