Details of the Job/Internship

Sony Pictures Networks India is looking for a candidate for the position of Lead Counsel.

Role and Responsibilities

IT Agreements

• Draft, review, and negotiate various IT agreements, including Master Service Agreements, SOWs, POs, EULA, SaaS, PaaS, SLA, Data Processing, Reseller, Distribution, joint venture, website/mobile app development, integration, and data security agreements.

Corporate Agreements

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements such as Consulting, Service, Outsourcing, Insurance, Car Hire, Hotel Agreements, Flight Agreements, Travel Agreements, Lease, Leave and License, Godown, Carriage freight, Loan Staff, Financing, Employment, and Individual Consultant agreements.

Strategic Legal Advice

• Provide legal advice to top management, offering solutions to mitigate risks.

Team Management

• Led and mentored a team of contract professionals, ensuring compliance and legal operations.

Impact Assessment and Adjustments

• Analyzing the latest developments in techno-legal fields and updating management on impact.

Terms and Policies

• Oversee drafting and monitoring of Terms and Conditions for company websites and apps.

Financial Oversight

• Prepare and monitor the functional budget for cost-effective operations.

Eligibility

• LL.B. preferably from a reputed law school (preference for LLM).
• 10+ years of legal experience, with expertise in IT and Corporate drafting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with practical legal solutions experience.
• Experience in financial oversight and budget management.

Salary/Stipend
